2026 Fall Skill Foundations

Fall Skill Foundations

Registration can be found below

Program Operation Dates: September 28th, 2026 - November 6th, 2026

Our Skill Foundations Program places an emphasis on individual player development - providing athletes with the space and time to deepen their understanding of the details that go into becoming a skilled player. Athletes will have the opportunity to develop situational skills in a controlled setting before applying the skills in small sided 1on1 games. Each training session will have a different point of emphasis and the situational skills we work on will build into our small sided games for the evening.

Please make sure that your child is registered for a training session aligned with their current skill level.

Sessions labeled "DEVELOPMENT" are for athletes who are not currently playing for a competitive team and may be experimenting with basketball for the first time.

Sessions labeled "COMPETITIVE" are for athletes who are currently playing for a competitive team (ie. Kingston Impact, Brockville Blazers, Belleville Spirits, etc.).

Our Grade 9/10 DEVELOPMENT session is tailored towards grade 9/10 boys who are serious about improving their game with aspirations of playing at the AAA competitive level who did NOT make a AAA competitive team. AAA athletes should inquire about joining our Semi-Private training program.

If you feel that your child should be participating in the competitive stream despite not meeting the necessary requirements please reach out to Connor via email at info@yxubasketball.com.
